help looking up words?
Hi
I'm trying to find a quick way of finding the meaning of a English word in the logos android app, without leaving the resource ,I am reading
When I select a word, a menu comes up ,I select the information icon ,
This then gives me another option to choose from , I select search ,a window opens ,
After some time ,some resources are displayed . I have to then open the resource up to read about the meaning of the English Word
This method of looking up Words takes a long time
I have been using another app Called StarDict dictionary ,
Which gives Instant information on any word ,I have selected in the logos app
It uses several different Off-line dictionaries ,
There are a lot of dictionaries in my logos library, what is the best way to look up English words for the meaning
without opening lots of resources,
StarDict dictionary , does work but I would rather use resources ,dictionaries from my logos library
Any help or pointers is much appreciated

Hi I have started using NT311: The World of Jesus and the Gospels Using the Android app, and I have (send to dictionary app ) running in the background, When I need to look up a word, I select the word from the text then click the copy icon , I then just pull down the android background window to click on the ( send to dictionary ) which brings up a window up over the logos app displaying dictionary info from StarDict dictionary which shows info from English Wordnet offline dictionary, Bible offline dictionary, English thesaurus offline dictionary, Wikipedia encyclopedia, Bible Dictionary Smith's, , the word I select will show up in all the dictionarys in one window I would like to have something like this in the logos android app Which I can use different dictionary in my library, How do I look up the meaning of words in the android app quickly Without losing the resource I am reading ?
I've love to help you, but honestly, I have no idea what you are saying here. Sorry.
Maybe if you could reword and break up the paragraphs when you do into separate thoughts. Maybe its just my ADD, but I cant seem to follow you here. Maybe some bullet points or screen captures might help too.
Again, sorry.

I've amended the text to make more sense, I was using a program to write on the post which was not very user-friendly

There currently isn't a "Define" item in the pop-up menu that appears after selecting a word. There is already a case for the iOS apps (since iOS includes built-in dictionaries) but not for the Android apps. There are not standard built-in dictionaries included in Android.

A simple "Look up" function that uses a Logos dictionary is really necessary IMO. It's the feature I miss most on Android.
