Is it me or is 907 resources being updated a tad odd?

What sort of resources are being updated?
Not a cloud subscriber.
It seems like all types of resources are being updated. From commentaries to different apparatuses. It's just over 5.25 gigs.
I only have just over 7600 resources and close to 10% of my resources needed updating seems a bit odd. IMHO
I just subscribed to "cloud" and it updated 1400 resources that I now have access to- not bad. I'll be evaluating this feature, looks promising, depending on the resources it allows access to it may be the basis for my "purchases" of permanent resources.
I'm assuming that these will NOT have to be indexed? If so, I'll still be indexing until the next New Year [:S]

When was the last time - before now - you ran Logos on this computer?
I run Logos every day.
Right now, stage one is happening - "preparing library."
Now is says that 1,574 resources were updated and I have 8244 resources and this is not counting all my hidden ones.

Thankfully I am not seeing any updates to any files on my system... I wonder if your system became corrupted or did you at one time try either Logos Cloud or Logos Now????

I had about 7600 books at the beginning of the day AND NOW I HAVE 9464! I know these are not free books. Are they resources that are not hidden any longer? Are they temporary licenced resources or what?

Good call. It looks like they are temporary.
I don't want them and why am I getting them? I don't have time to look or resource them so how do I make sure I don't get a ton of temporary freebies.

I'm curious if you have inadvertantly/mistakeingly been given some sort of subscription to Cloud? I'm thinking that you can check under the "Subscriptions" part of your account to see if that is it. I believe that Cloud resources would show as temporary licenses since they are dependent on an active subscription.
You're absolutely bang on. How this came about I don't know. So I wonder if I cancel the Logos Cloud Professional will these resource be deleted AFTER 1 month or immediately as in today?

I think the "Delete Unlicensed Resources" command should deal with this once you've cancelled your subscription - read more about it here: https://wiki.logos.com/Delete_Unlicensed_Resources
Probably after a month. I imagine, if you call customer service next week, they can cancel it immediately, similar to how they helped people with Perseus. After that, you can run the delete unlicensed resources command and remove them permanately from your computer.

Once your license for these resources is cancelled, your will still need to run the "Delete Unlicensed Resources" command because cancelling the license removes access, but it does not remove them from your hard drive.
