When doing words studies, tracing the history of an image etc. canonical order for scriptural references has very little meaning. However, it would be VERY useful to be able to sort the references into the following orders:
- approximate order of writing
- by traditional author (Pauline, Johannine, Solomaic .....
- by academic consensus author
