Am using w 7 with logos 6.128.49
You seem to have a rather old version. I am running windows 7 with the current logos version 6.8.0.0059. Logos should be downloading and running the installer to update your version.

Can you explain what you mean by this? Why should Logos be the one to update a user's version of the software? Maybe I'm misunderstanding ...
When you start up the Logos app, it will connect to the logos servers and determine that the version you are running is out of date. It will then automatically start to download the required update. You should see a blue dot in the upper right hand corner. You can click on the dot to see the progress.

Logos program settings has choices for "Use Internet" and "Automatically Download Updates"; default of Yes =>
Changing program settings allows user to control updates. Personally have "Use Internet" set to Yes with "Automatically Download Updates" set to No. Notification appears when Logos detects resource or program update is available, which can be ignored until want Logos updates to be done: e.g. not using computer fir several hours.

My Windows 7 file explorer shows 6.8.0.49 version for Logos.exe (latest beta channel release). About in Logos shows 6.8.0.0049

Yes, of course! I have mine set for updates to not download automatically and I completely forgot there was another option [:$]
