Search capabilities of resources

Does anyone know how to tell the search capabilities of various resources?

I looked at SBLGNT and it didn't specify that it was morphologically tagged, but it can be morph searched. It appears that all greek text can be morph searched (correct me if I'm wrong), but if that's the case why do some resources state that they are morphologically tagged while others don't?

Is there a way to know what resources will allow clause and syntax searching? I'm not asking for a list, I'd like to know how to tell on my own. I know for syntax searches some resources state that they are syntactically analyzed. But what about clause search? I have three resources that show up for clause searching this is one of them: The Old Testament in Greek According to the Septuagint by Swete, Barclay. But how would I know that without buying it?

While both Dave and Mark can give you better answers, the key is often the presence of an interlinear or reverse-interlinear text. A text doesn't need to actually be tagged but rather needs to be able to map back to a resource that is tagged.

The Information panel of a resource also provides insight into how a resource can be searched:

In addition, on the more specialized searches, a drop-down box limits the resources you can ask to search.

This is determined by the search fields tagged in the resource, as MJ showed you in her reply above. Some users have asked Logos to expose such data to the shop.

The point is that it is morphologically tagged - with Logos Greek morphology, to be precise.

Sorry, but you are wrong. You might take a look at this Reading List of all Greek bible texts I know of in Logos, which tries to give the appropriate tagging and other pertinent info. The majority of texts in there is not morphologically tagged, however, many are (with Logos, Gramcord, SESB, WIVU or Friberg Greek morphologies). Syntax search requires syntax tagging - see in that list down below, you'll find OpenText and Cascadia syntax tagging for Greek (WIVU exists as well, but the display engine has yet to be converted from Libronix).

Thanks for that information and for the list. I was looking at the resources in the store and couldn't tell which resources could do what searches, like the Lexham Discourse Bundle. I looked at the resources in my liberary that were able to be used in clause searches and there didn't seem to be any ryme or reason.

What MJ said is great. I'll deffinitally look there in the future. But it's too bad you have to own the resource first.

If you go to the Logos website and type 'morphologically tagged' into the product search box and hit enter you will get an extensive listing, most of which are individual resources. I'll assume Faithlife puts this info in the product descriptions of all tagged resources so the list should be complete, but of course, no guarantees.
