The above book is currently a great price. I'm confused though because:
A) It isn't available on the webapp. Is this an omission? Will it be fixed?
When you search for it you can see it is available for pre-order from Logos. Is it possible to upgrade Vyrso books to Logos ones? Should I return it to buy the Logos one etc?

Unless FL has changed its policy recently, you should automatically get the Logos edition when it is released. However, I can not find any evidence that this particular resource is coming to Logos. Searching the Logos website for "Seeking Allah" only produced a link to a Ravi Zacharias page.

Hi John,
A) I've not used the Logos web app but am two-thirds of the way through reading the book. I have it on in Logos 6 (on my MacBook Pro), my iPad and my Android mobile phone. Perhaps the glitch is related only to the web app. Did you contact customer service about this? It's cs@logos.com or 800-875-6467
Vyrso books tend to be just what the publisher sends to Faithlife, i.e. mostly plain text, without the extra bells and whistles that you would expect to find in Logos books. That's why "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus" is only available on vyrso.com. Sometimes books which start out in Vyrso later get the Logos magic makeover and, when this happens, Vyrso editions are automatically updated/upgraded to Logos ones, at no additional cost to the user. I can't find it on the webapp either (but it's available on the mobile apps)

Probably not... at least not soon. There are a number of "rules" about licenses.
- ALL books are available on desktop.
- ALL Vyrso books are available on mobile.
- Most "logos edition" books are available on mobile. Notably Zondervan titles are sketchy in availability.
- Both Vyrso and Logos editions of some books aren't available on web. Notably Zondervan titles are sketchy in availability.

As others have written, IF it comes to Logos, you <should> receive a comp Logos edition.

It may simply mean that a new version is coming to Vyrso. There isn't anything to indicate that it is a Logos resource... but I can see where someone could be confused. The "logos icon" was simply placeholder art for the lack of a book cover.

I have another Vyrso book that's excluding Send to Kindle, Fool's Talk. When I click on most of my Vryso books, like, oh, Fire Someone Today, the Devices all populate and the Send to Kindle link is available. Not so with Seeking Allah and Fool's Talk. Something strange about these two books, if I search "vyrso" in my library window, most of my Vyrso books appear, but these two are among the ones that don't.

As far as I know, that's for license reasons as well. Most publishers from A to Y gladly allow sending resources to mobile devices though.

For clarification: by "available on mobile" I meant "available to access on any of the FL created mobile reader apps." I was not talking about "send to kindle" nor the ability to manage from desktop. I believe all Zondervan titles have been disabled to manage on desktop.
Also: a search for "vyrso" really isn't a useful, valid search. If your goal is to find all vyrso titles, the correct search is edition:e (Short for edition:ebook).

yep. the 'vyrso' search relies not on Faithlife-supplied metadata, but on the incomplete Community Tag (i.e a number of users - greater than 5 - tagging their edition:e books with the redundant mytag 'vyrso'). This would miss about a quarter of them in my library.
