I am running Logos 5 on a MacBook Air. My hard drive is only 128gb, so I would really love to free up the space that the resource library currently occupies. Is there any way to move my library to an external hard drive?
Hello Jason and welcome to the forums!
You can find instructions for doing installing Logos on an external drive here: https://wiki.logos.com/Install_in_different_folder_or_drive#Relocate_your_folder_with_Resources.2c_Indexes.2c_.2e.2e.2e
Bear in mind that, depending on what kind of external drive you use, that Logos will suffer a performance hit.
Also, you can upgrade to the free Logos 6 engine. Just download it from here: https://www.logos.com/install
Thanks for responding! I know my way around a computer fairly well, but the instructions in that link seem a bit over my head. Where do I find "New Volume" to install or connect? If I'm asking that question, is this going to be something I will be unable to do? Thanks.
New Volume refers to the name of your external drive or partition that you want to put your resources on. Read through the instructions and see if everything makes sense. If something doesn't, feel free to ask more questions.
