When choosing a style for note icons (shape and colour), there is a link to choose to make it default. The problem is that it makes it default for all annotations files, not just the one in which one is working. Yet, it would fall to reason, it seems, that people would tend to use different icons for different types of notes (and hence annotation files) rather than want to have one uniform format across the board.
It would be better, I think, to have the default apply only to the file where one is working, allowing users to have different defaults for different annotation files.
