Expanding/reducing highlighted text

Is there a way to change what text is included in a highlight? For example:
Without deleting the highlighted section and creating a new highlight, can I change the highlight so that it only covers the words "We will know"?
The reason is that I have highlights attached to notes, and I want to change the highlighted text to which the note refers, without deleting and making a new note with a new highlighted section.
Related to this, is it possible to change a note's attachment from a REFERENCE to a highlighted SECTION? I have some notes attached to a reference, and it shows up in every book that includes that reference, but I only want it attached to the reference in one particular book, say the NASB95 for example.
Thanks for the help.

1. open the note in edit mode
2. select add attachment point
3. add by selection or enter reference
4. delete erroneous attachment link
you should be good to go.

Great, thanks! I didn't realise you could highlight something while editing the note. That answers both my questions. Thanks again.
