Sticky settings

Every time I get a new resource I need to turn off the timeline display and turn on page numbers. It would be helpful if I could set global settings for all resources. Of course, I don't turn on page numbers for encyclopedias and lexica since these are never quoted by page number, but it would still be helpful.
