Trying to find some information on "Bethany beyond the Jordan", and under this heading in the Anchor Yale Bible Dictionary, in a sentence relating to Mt. Hermon and the Essenes is an untagged reference to 1 Enoch 13. Does anyone know what this reference is about ?
The RH Charles version of the Book of Enoch shows only 9 verses in Chapter 1.
