Proverbs Expolorer now has lots of 'non-Proverbs' links - any way to turn this off?

It seems the latest update has now made the Proverbs Explorer identify proverbs (or something to do with proverbs) throughout the bible. For example, if you click on "Restoration" under the list of themes it brings up Job 8:11-13 and Eze 16:44.
On the face of it that's a nice feature, but for my purposes I was using the Proverbs explorer as a quick way to navigate themes etc. within Proverbs specifically. It was great, I loved it. Now it's become a touch cumbersome as I'm not interested (for my studies) in proverbs etc. outside of Proverbs (the biblical book that is).
I suspect not, but is there anyway to revert this back to only exploring Proverbs proper, not proverbs and related material throughout the Bible. If not, can I plead with the developers to put such a feature in - an option to turn off wider search results and limit the explorer to Proverbs only.
Thanks.

I don't see this - in the beta of 6.9 - but I don't see "Restoration" as a theme either.
Please post a screenshot

Here's My List. Note also all the non-Proverbs references on the right.:
If I select the example 'Restoration', this is what I get:
FWIW, I'm using version 6.8 SR-1 (6.8.0.0059)

I can replicate your search.

Graham, I'm seeing the same thing as JT. I'm also on 6.9b4, but my understanding is that the interactives aren't tied to the release cycle so it's possible that we have a different version(?) My support info is:
INTERACTIVE:PROVERBS-BROWSER
2016-01-07T20:31:50Z
PROVERBS-BROWSER.lbshtmWhat's "interesting" is that without filtering, it includes the apocrypha as well as other "canonical" books besides Proverbs. I'm seeing the same total number of 969...what is your total count?

That certainly seems to be the case - mine is much older for some reason

I just have 565
EDIT: While an "update now" command doesn't find any updates an "update resources" command results in 740MB of updates.
What have I been missing out on?[:D]

Yes, part of the Logos Now 6.9 release is the expansion of the Proverbs Explorer to treat items that may be classed as proverbs throughout the Bible instead of only in the book called Proverbs. The same classifications used within Proverbs are used throughout the whole text. My apologies for this not being mentioned in the most recent release notes. We had an internal miscommunication on resource updates/releases in the 6.9 cycle.*
I'll file an issue for Proverbs Explorer to suggest a facet for Bible book. This would allow filtering to only Proverbs or any other Bible book.

* So you may also note that for Logos Now users, the Biblical Theologies guide section is functional and a Hebrew Bible Manuscript Explorer is also available. Further, I think an updated Names of God interactive now includes deuterocanonical/apocryphal material.

JT, if you have the Proverbs explorer dataset (LogosNow(?)), you can search for your desired parameters.
Something to note... I assumed that I would need to restrict the search to the book of Proverbs, but this is not the case... Doing a Bible search in All Passages for "{Label Proverb}" only returns hits in the book of Proverbs. Likewise, any more specific search like "{Label Proverb WHERE Type ~ "Saying"}" also remains limited to the book of Proverbs, even though the Proverbs explorer lists additional hits for this Type.
All this to say that the Dataset and the Explorer DON'T MATCH.

Hi Graham.
I think this issue is affecting you: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/121737/796216.aspx#796216

Hi Reuben.
It sounds like there's an issue with the licensing of the non-Proverbs items dataset. I'll file an issue to look into it.

Agreed this issue is affecting my ability to update my beta installation.
But I was surprised that the updated Proverbs Explorer shows up - and works in the "new way" - on my stable 6.8 system. Should it not have "waited" until the system was at 6.9?

Unless there is a reason to do so, we do not typically restrict interactives to function with a particular software version or versions as part of release with 6.x updates and Logos Now.
Basically, if we need to update application support of interactives for new features or framework within interactives, then it will be tied to the release which supports it.

I figured as much.
I think it's a good feature in a way. However, as I mentioned in the OP, the great thing about Proverbs Explorer was it's speed and simplicity - an easy semi-visual way to quickly find certain themes/concepts etc. within the Book of Proverbs itself. With all the extra links to the 'proverb type' throughout the Bible, it has become a bit cluttered and lost that slick efficiency.
I guess it depends how people are going to use it. I can easily see myself using it in the full 'expanded' manner as it currently exists at some point, but right now I'm missing the old 'restricted to Proverbs' format. As such, I appreciate you raising it as an issue that those responsible will hopefully fix.
Also, FWIW, the description of the Proverbs Explorer still reads "For the individual sayings in the book of Proverbs by theme, type and characters." Not that it really matters, but that's no loner an accurate description of the resource.

There was a number of requests to include all proverbs rather than just the book of Proverbs when the interactive was first released. I think Rick's idea of a book of the Bible facet is the way to go for those who need a more restricted set.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

So, the problem wasn't licensing. Turns out that I completely spaced queuing this dataset for shipment with the last beta. It has been shipped, so it should be available soon for Logos Now subscribers.
Apologies, and thanks to Reuben for mentioning it.

What may be implemented (because it would actually be much easier) is a facet representing Proverbs in the book of Proverbs (so, "In Proverbs" or something like that).
