QUESTION re: inconsistent tagging

For Matthew 7:16a, Jesus is addressing the crowd at the Sermon on the Mount with a 2nd person You. The you is tagged as "Crowd at the Sermon on the Mount" as addressee but tagged as "Disciples" as referent. I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how the two tagging could differ. Is this an error or an intentional interpretative incongruity?
