How long will it take to learn the Greek language and is there something on line that will help me?
I'm still learning English and have been for more than 39 years. [;)]
We never stop learning our native language (hopefully), much less a second language. Yet we can be fluent without mastering everything there is. On the other hand, Read Greek in 30 Days or Less is optimistic. But who knows. Give it a try! I have the book and it is excellent. How long it takes to learn will be depend on the level you want to achieve and the time you put into it, from less than 30 days (apparently) and up.
The resources above are excellent. I might add one that I have recommended from Ted Hildebrand which is free. The books are downloadable, already in .doc format and can be made into personal books.

One caveat is that an old method of displaying Gk fonts is used. The Greek text will appear correctly if you install this Greekth.ttf font and restart Logos.
Lookup in Logos may not work correctly for Greek words since they are not unicode. Perhaps someone could write a Word macro to convert the Greek to unicode. Or maybe just live with it as it is.
