custom install on a samsung tablet PC

I have a Samsung tablet PC with Win 10, a 32gb digital HD and a 32gb SD card. My problem is that with limited space on drive C updates from Windows and Logos eat up my free space. I would like to install Logos on my SD card (drive D). Where can I find direction on how to do this?

Hi Allen - and welcome to the forums
https://wiki.logos.com/Install_in_different_folder_or_drive has details about installing to a different drive
But please be aware that SD cards are unlikely to provide good performance - I don't believe they are supported

Allen, I would investigate re-installing your current programs on the SD card - if they will run on it. Programs like Microsoft Office will run on an SD card and do not need the speed that Logos needs. At least is what I have done on my Dell Venue 8 PC tablet and it is adequate. I would not attempt to run Logos on the SD card. I know others on the Logos forums that have done the same.
Incidentally, I found it easier to create tablet suitable layout(s) on my main PC and they will be synchronised over to my tablet rather than create layouts directly on my tablet. In addition I personally find it easier not to use the tablet mode in Win 10 when using Logos on it. You may prefer things differently though!

I installed Logos on an Asus VivoTab 8 Pro a while back. I used a Class 10 SD card to do so, even though the tablet had 64 GB of RAM. Logos ran acceptably on the SD card. Make sure you have the fastest Class 10 card you can find. And, do the type of installation at the link Graham provided that allows you to copy over your resources to the card and speeds up the indexing.

I uninstalled Logos 6 from my C: drive and I am reinstalling it per the instruction in the link Graham provided. It is installing directly to the SD card. I will post how it works when it is finished.

What and how do you create "tablet suitable layouts"?

I followed yours and Bill Anderson's suggestions and have installed Logos 6 on my SD card and Logos seems to be working as it has in the past.
Thanks for your help.
