Logos has four different "views" within note documents:

Full View: Reveals ALL parts of ALL notes within the document.
Compact View: Reveals title and note content for selected note, Hides note content but reveals title for all others.
Split View: Similar to compact view, but in a "side by side" view
Quotes View: Shows only highlight notes. Shows entire highlighted "quote"

FULL VIEW:

[Notice that the content of the two non-highlight notes are both visible]

COMPACT VIEW:

[Notice that the content of only selected note is visible]

SPLIT VIEW:

[Notice that the content of the selected note is shown on the right hand side of the note document pane]

QUOTES VIEW:

[Notice that only the highlight notes are shown, and that the entire highlighted "quote" is shown.]

Great! Thanks you for explaining that to me. I have another question. What is the difference between a post and a Thread? I am not sure I understand the difference.

What is the difference between a post and a Thread?

For starters, you have just created a new POST in a THREAD entitled TIP: Document Views.

A "thread" is like a conversation about a particular topic. A "post" is a single interaction within that "thread." A "forum" is a collection of related "threads."

That may be too theoretical, so let me explain more "real world."

Faithlife has a number of "forums." Two examples: Logos 6 and iPhone/iPad (also referred to as the iOS forum). If you have a question: "How do I download my bible on my iPad," You need to go to the iOS forum. You would then create a new thread, and call it "How do I download my Bible." Perhaps the slightly confusing thing here is that to create a new THREAD, you also create a new POST. Any subsequent back and forth between yourself and other forum members in that THREAD are called POSTS. The first message in a thread (the post that started the thread) is called the ORIGINAL POST (or OP).

A general rule of thumb: If you are asking for help, you should create a new THREAD, and continue making POSTS in that thread until the issue is resolved. If you have new issues, you should create a new thread.
