What has happened to the LOGOS price in PrePubs?

Looking at the PrePub listings now, the "Suggested Price" is there and the "PrePub" price is there. What happened to the "Logos Price" that use to be displayed? It showed what the resource price would be from Logos after the PrePub offer expired.

This "Logos Price" feature helped me to see those PrePub offers that I just couldn't pass up due to the savings difference versus those that I could wait until I really needed them since there wasn't much of a savings there to start with. Is this the direction the PrePubs section is going since all the new PrePubs are so close to MSRP?

Please, I really want Logos to put the "Logos Price" back on PrePub listings!

It is still there. There have always been some products that don't show it and some that do. It is there for all of these pre-pubs I've ordered that are still gathering interest, for example, and there are some substantial savings to be had on all of these:

I guess you missed the forum discussions about Baker, Zondervan and electronic books pricing models. I think you are viewing Baker titles in Pre-Pub. They do not offer a penny savings off of retail. I don't want to rehash everything that has already been said. (It wouldn't do any good.) Just search the forums.

There are still many great deals in Pre-Pub where you can save a significant amount of money and feel good about eating crackers & peanut butter to pay for them. Those deals just get buried down the Pre-Pub page because the Big Boys want to be first in line. [6] Maybe some day we can get a wish/watch list to weed out the not-so-specially priced stuff that blocks our view.

EDIT: I think I now see what you mean Praiser. You are talking about the third price some listings show. That "Logos Sale Price" is typically the regular price you can buy a title after it has been published. Well Zondervan & Baker didn't leave much room for a sale price.

But don't think the "Suggested Retail Price" is just a gimmick. I have seen titles on "Logos Sale Price" for a while eventually go to retail. I have also seen some special temporary lowered "Logos Sale Prices." There were a few bundles offered a year ago that I didn't buy immediately and they are no longer offered. Around this place, "Sale" really means "sale."

That is true that they didn't change any of the old PrePub listings,

The new PrePubs though are not showing the "Logos Price" and it is not specific to just Baker and Zondervan titles.

It seems to be most, if not all, of the new PrePubs are set up this way now regardless of publisher.

I would like to see the Logos Price (the price after the PrePub offering is finished) appear in all the listings, so we can make a more informed purchase decision.

I am much more likely to go ahead and place an order quickly if I know that it will mean substantial savings.
