When I open a Bible and it is to Matthew 4:4 let's say and I want to go to Matt. 10:12. When I put that new text in the box and click the arrow it will not go to the new text instead it goes back to the old text. What am I doing wrong?

This will happen if - for some reason - the reference is not recognised
Please post a screenshot (using the paperclip icon) showing the Bible before you click the arrow
what is the paper clip? I don't see any paper clip. I see two //
The paper clip is on the forum entry - after the link symbols. I suspect, however, that your problem is that you are not selecting the passage from the dropdown list before you click on the arrow.
I appreciate your help but I have almost no idea what you are talking about. What do you mean by "Post a screen shot using the paper clip icon" I see a paper clip icon in the Reply box here but I don't see any in the Bible.
Do you know how to use the "print Screen" function on your computer? (Many use more specialized software but its there and works.) You have to take a screen shot before you can upload it.
I know where the button is but I clicked it and nothing happened
Here is a screen shot showing where you need to click to change the reference. Is that what you are doing before clicking on the arrow?
Yes, but how do you get the "Go to" on your site. it does not show on mine? and how do you get a screen shot. I clicked the "print Screen" button. is that the wrong button?
When I changed the reference box from Mt 4:4 to Mt 10:12, the Go to comes up automatically. The Print Screen should work ... unfortunately, on my machine I have redirected the key to Jing. But it should have come up with a picture and the option to save the picture. What did you get? I just noticed that this thread is under General rather than under the software you are using. Are you on Logos 6 on a PC?
Ok I see now how it works. I guess I must be getting old!
AS far as the print screen is concerned I get nothing when I press it. I have a Logos 6 and a PC
Ok I just figured out how the print screen works thanks for your help
Glad to know you're back in business.
