Information window

I have noticed that references in theTools:Lookup:Information window are cut off before all the text is visible with no opportunity to scroll down the Information. Could anyone tell me whether this is:

Something that has yet to be fully developed – eventually there will be a scroll bar beside the text.
This is a bug which has yet to be fixed.
This is the way it's going to be – you have to open another window by clicking on the reference (in the example below BDB) in order to be able to read the full reference.

If 3, then perhaps it should be renamed Partial Information window. Wink

I'm not seeing mine cut off so maybe just a bug on yours. I know from the forums that some people have issues with certain commands while others it seems to work fine. I've been involve since the beginning and haven't really experienced any problems except for the slowness. I've been using it for sermon prep for the last month or so.

Alan, the answer is yes. The text clipping is a bug we're still working on. it happens if your default font size is turned up to more than 100% or if there are super or subscripts in the text sometimes. But even in Windows the Information view only shows a 5 line summary of the information. You'll stll have to open the original resource to see the enitre article. Think of it as a quick way to know if you want to dig deeper into a particular article or topic.

In addition to what Tom said, the Info window does not generally display an entire article, so your #3 is correct. It gives you a snippet of what's available and for quick work that snippet is often sufficient. Click the BDB link to go to the full article in BDB itself.
