A14 Will Hopefully Be Arriving Soon ... Lets Hope For ...

The alpha versions of L4M have been progressing quite nicely as of late. No doubt A14 will released soon. There is one feature however that I am really hoping makes it into the next alpha release and that is .... verses on their own line.

I do a lot of copy/paste and the fact that L4M currently only does paragraph style forces me to keep a certain other application open while using L4M just so that I can copy and past Scriptures where verses are on their own line.

Please, please consider adding this soon!

This is something that has been requested for the PC version. If it is already possible for the PC version, I'm not sure how to turn it on. But I know how to accomplish what you want and that requires the Copy Bible Verses tool.

If you can access a PC version, open the Tools -> Copy Bible Verses tool and either set up your own format or use the predefined One Verse Per Line format.

Then in the Mac version when you highlight a section of Scripture right-click it, go to the Reference tab, and select Copy [John 3:16-21].

It will use the format you specify in the PC version.

On a similarly related note and in all seriousness, i have been really pleased with the progress of L4Mac. Last week (Friday) I was giving a demonstration and showing some videos to a friend of mine (as a member of the Ambassador Program for Logos). We tried to do 3 simple searches and I don't know what it was but all three crashed! Very rarely does the thing crash for me. So I am hoping for some stability and added features...like printing or better functionality with copy/paste.

Well, that is all fine and good but you still have to read it in paragraph style ... which makes things more difficult.

Plus the solution you provided surly can not be considered to be optimum as it adds more steps to an otherwise easy process. You just can not get any faster than "command +c / command+v".

Anyway, I know that it still alpha stage ... I am just wishful thinking for the A14 release. I would assume that it would be a feature in the later beta and gm releases.
