Ugly library book covers...

So I've been meaning to ask for a while (but haven't because it's hardly a massive problem), but why do the book covers in the library dropdown menu look so fuzzy and ugly? They look fine on iOS and also look fine when displayed on the home page on the Mac.
It's almost as if they've been scaled up using a really poor algorithm, leading them to look horrible, and it's been that way for years.

Joel, can you provide a screen shot of what you are seeing?

Sure. This is from my Macbook Pro. On my iMac (non-retina) things look even fuzzier.

Dropbox makes it look half decent... probably one to download

Hey Joel!
When trying to show a screenshot, please "attach" it via the paper clip icon. That will make the image visible in the forums.

Book covers in Logos are very low resolution. They've always been that way. It looks like you've scaled them up in the library view. You can change that by opening the library in a new tab or floating window, then clicking the library menu and dragging the slider.

Alabama24, I'l try and do that next time.
Mark, that looks like Windows - not OSX. On OSX it doesn't matter what scale I set it to. It's still fuzzy. And that's on multiple computers where I haven't changed the library scale.
If it were true that scaling caused the problem, we could rename the tread to be about the terrible scaling method
But as it stands, it's just a cover issue on OSX.

You are correct Joel - the images are just low resolution and, in fact, fussy down to the smallest size.
Fortunately for me I don't spend much (any) time looking at them as I keep my library display in 'Details' view. There the images are too small to be of any use other than markers for the start of a new line.

Seems like a scaling problem on non-retina Macs, like my 2011 Macbook Pro and 2014 iMac.
