Logos is sluggish. I'm running El Capitan. Here's what the activity monitor shows. Seems like a lot CPU usage.
My CPU goes to 200-300 during startup but then drops off. Is that your experience? I'll try to post logs as well.
Not sure what it's "doing" but I'm just using it. But it dropped way back down, and has stayed low ever since. I'll post logs if it happens again.
Yes, it did drop down. Right now it's hovering around 5.
Mine will periodically use a lot of CPU and cause the temps to rise. Normally this happens for several seconds to a couple of minutes, and is not during indexing. There is also an old glitch which causes high cpu usage when trying to sync when no internet access is available. So normally I switch of internet usage when I'm not connected to avoid this.
I'm not sure what you mean by "switch off internet usage when not connected." I'm almost always connected, but would like to know how to do that.

It's in program settings (Cmd+,)...
Thanks!
I have the same issue. I am at the moment at an airport that blocks some ports and/or servers. My CPU is at >300% when running Logos on my Mac. As soon as I turn on a VPN (i.e., no more internet blocking), the CPU drops to <10%. It does look like the high CPU is caused by some internet issues.
