Citations seem to be missing from a resource

The footnotes in David Allen's "Hebrews. The New American Commentary" seem to be missing. The numbers are in the text and when hovered over or clicked on the a reference is given, but not a complete citation. For example on page 387 there is a footnote numbered 463. Hovering shows Peterson, “Apostasy,” 27. But how to I find the complete reference? The book has a "Selected Bibliography" at the end, but when I was looking for a book titled "Reflections" by D.A. Carson referenced in a couple of footnotes, I found no entry for Carson. On the other hand, the "Person Index" has multiple references to him.

Does anyone know how I can find the full citations that are only abbreviated in the Logos footnotes?

I don't have the commentary but the abbreviations/full title information is usually at the front of a commentary.

I took your suggestion and checked, but those are only for abbreviations that occur in the text not footnote citations. Thanks though.

I think I see what you are getting at. I have to find the first reference for that work. That didn't work in this case.

Footnote number 476 has the pop-up (Carson, “Reflections,” 405.) so I wanted to get the full citation to see I I wanted to buy it. So I asked myself how many footnotes would I have to hover over to find the first for this citation? In fumbling around testing things as I write this post I've discovered that if I search the commentary for "Carson" it will show me both the text and the footnotes that contain his name! Nice feature I didn't know existed, I was just looking for a footnote section to visually scan. (However it has a problem in that this search did not return results from the "People" index at the end of the book that does have Carson in it, so it is incomplete.)

Almost there, but I'm back to my original problem. Turns out there is no full citation for this Carson work. Usually when a work uses this short-form of citation, the full citation appears someplace but it doesn't here, not even in the Bibliography at the end of the book. Did the original work err or did Logos?

Setting aside the potential Logos problems, after a little research I found this book for sale "How Long, O Lord?: Reflections on Suffering and Evil" and I'm wondering it that's the book referenced. Does anyone know if it has a discussion that relates to Hebrews 6?

Oh, I see! I scanned that too fast and missed it entirely. Thank you for finding that!

Do you think it's the Westminster Theological Journal? Does Logos only sell this journal in bundles or can I access individual issues?
