Downloading resources to MAC

This morning I wanted to read John Butler's Daily Bible Reading (DBR) volumes 1-3 but I couldn't because of the Logos switch issue. While the switch issue is now resolved, how do I download the DBR (or other resources) to my MAC and/or IPad so I can read them offline?

Thanks,

Bill

I am confused by your question. If you already owned the resource, it should already be on your Mac for off-line use. If you purchased it while the server was down, it should automatically download for off-line use. If it doesn't, you can use the command "Update Now."

On the iPad apps, press the circle "I" icon to the right of the resource in the library to find the download button

     Does that answer your question?

Thank you for your quick reply. I saw use Logos offline this morning but I thought I had to download the resources first. Next time it happens, I'll click on use Logos offline to find the resource.

    Thanks,

    Bill - I am still confused. [:s]

First, it is helpful to make sure we get this thread into the right forum. Are you primarily interested in the desktop (L6) app, or the mobile (iPad) one? A moderator can move this to the appropriate one. [:)]

It sounds like you are primarily asking about the desktop app. For clarification: ALL resources on desktop are downloaded and available offline. If you get a warning box and you need to click "work offline," it means that you can't sync data, download NEW resources, or use internet features. On the DESKTOP app, that generally isn't a big deal. On MOBILE being "offline" means you can only read previously downloaded resources, highlight and take notes. None of the guides are available offline since they run off the servers (Mobile app only).

    Hi,

Mainly the desktop app-that's where I do most of my studying.

OK. Short answer: as long as you had already downloaded the resource previously, it will be available to you offline. The desktop app is designed to have instant offline access to your entire library, but You can't access newly purchased resources until you are able to connect to Faithlife servers.
