Well it's taken me a long time but I was just experimenting and found that you can drag and drop any one of your layouts on the short cut bar!
How cool is that!
mm.
That is awesome. Thank you Mikeman.

Minus 459.67°F. Thanks.
That qualifies as a Hot TOTD (tip o the day).
Yeah but I bet that most people, including you all, knew about this already. It was a surprised moment for me. [:O]
It was a surprised moment
There's a million serendipitous Providential moments in complex software, and it's always best to share it, even if you think many already know it, for thereby some have been conduits of Providence unawares.
As it turns out, it is a feature I didn't know about and am using the next 3 weeks so that my wife can quickly change projected layouts for me during classes. So thanks for sharing!

Never underestimate what other uses might have missed. Posting epiphanies here will doubtless benefit some, and it won't hurt any of us, even if we already knew it. Good work!
Now that you've discovered this, you'll soon be filling up what little shortcut bar there is. Perhaps it is time to go vote for this UserVoice suggestion that I posted a couple years ago, about increasing the customizability of the shortcut bar.

... it's always best to share it ...
My short cut bar includes an icon for a layout with two windows:
This layout is quite useful when checking/modifying collection(s).
Keep Smiling [:)]
Just voted and added a comment.

So I was thinking about the ribbon at the top of the layout.
What about having the option of having short cuts spread out if you have multiple screens?
So I'm looking at a layout I made for the Life of Paul. On the left screen I have part of my layout and on the right I have the other part of my layout. The right screen is not my default but it also does not have any shortcuts either.
It would be a great option for those who have two or more screens to have the ability to add more short cuts to the right screen.
Just thinking out loud.
Not sure how that would work, but I like the idea! Keep em coming.

Don't you just love those moments when you discover something new in Logos? Whether it has been there for a year, or just added an hour ago, it's new to you and that is what makes it so exciting and a great discovery. [:D]
Yep I agree. Almost makes you feel that you 'own it.'
cheers.
