Diagram Help

The diagram feature of Logos is great, but there are a number of real issues for which I cannot find a resolution.
1. I would like to copy the text "from" a diagram into a Word file as text not as an image.
2. There are times when a symbol need to be attached in the middle of a DO or S/V line. Also the left and right conjunction symbols will not connect. There are cases when this is a requirement to properly diagram a verse.
Can anyone offer how I can make this work or is this something LOGOS needs to address?

The sentence diagramming tool has not changed much since the current tool was released in L4. There have been suggestions over the years, however not much has really been done. I suspect this is one of those tools that is utilized by few users, therefore Logos has not committed a lot of time or resources to improvements.

This is probably not practical because it is not subject to the spacing requirements e.g. line spacing of text. Can you give an example of what you are trying to acheive so we can see if there is a way to do it? However, have you tried the right-click Copy with the various Paste options such as Text only in Word?

This is not my work but is from the Faithlife sentence diagramming group. Again, I need an example (screen shot) to see what you are having trouble with in order to find the answer.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I have heard this at a Faithlife open house. However, I know I don't use it as much as I would like because I find it too difficult to use ... so much easier to use some free tools that do the job better.

I agree with you about this MJ. I think it is one of the reasons why I seldom use it.

Yes this tool can be very clumsy to use- and I use this a lot- or use to.

I am unable to paste a screen print to this window.
I have a sentence diagram with the morphology above each word. To reduce clutter, I have a text table to the side that is coded to each word. In that table, I have the usage (aspect and Aktionsart) for each word. To simplify editing, I want to copy the text in that text box to Word in order to modify it. It is easy to copy from Word to the diagram page, but not from the diagram page to Word.
The second item is I have a subject/verb symbol. I need to insert a downward stilt on the verb side of the vertical line. the stilt and the S/V symbol will not connect. If I add it to the end but need to add another symbol, the three symbols will not link. Only two will link and the third will not.

Reed-Kellogg - from the University of Southern Florida: SenDraw
Syntax Tree - TreeForm Syntax Tree
New kid on the block is TreeBuilder which I have less experience with but appreciate grammar features of.

Correct. You need to use the paperclip icon to insert images.

What you want to do makes sense but I don't know a way to do it. I may have time to play with it later and see if there is some work around.

To answer this we need someone who uses Reed-Kellogg more than I - I lean towards syntactic trees when I diagram.

I guess that is the real question. Is it under utilized because few are interested in using an SD tool; or because this particular tool is not very user friendly?
