What I think would serve as a workable compromise:
- When more than one translation is selected
- if the references differ either by language/script or
- if the references differ by verse map (chapter/verse)
- then multiple references are retained even though they point to the same text.
That would ensure that when multiple Bibles are used, the class participant doesn't have to make a conversion to find the requested passage.
