Finding recently added books/resources

Sorry to bother, but I'm looking for a way to simply look at all my books in order of purchase. In other words, I want to see my library with the newly added books on the top of the list so I can go down the list and be reminded of what I own (yes, I do forget sometimes!).

This is not exactly what you where looking for, but the option to sort your library by "Last updated" should give you a rough indication of when you bought a resource:

Fred Chapman

Open a Library pane in details view

Click the "Last Updated" column heading to sort by Last updated date

If that heading is not visible, right click on any column heading and check Last Update to make it a visible column

I wish the desktop app has a simple "Recent" sort option like the mobile apps do.

Peter - The library doesn't have a "recent" sort, but don't forget about history!
