Is there Logos online?
I have a Macbook for on the go and don't want to download the software to my laptop. I was wondering if I an access my Logos resources and tools online? I looked at Logos now but it says new features. Not sure if that will help. I need some guidance. Thank you!

You can access your books at biblia.com. If you have a base package, you can subscribe to Logos Now which will allow you access to some features on the web app (in beta) and your books. For clarification: You can access many/most of your books at biblia.com... but certainly not "all."

This app will bring some more functionality to the mobile experience, such as guides. But Logos Cloud is mainly a subscription-based service giving access to a library of resources without the need to pay the price for permanent ownership.
http://biblia.com (or http://bible.faithlife.com) is the answer for (no frills) online access to books, the web app beta for more functionality - and this for owners of a library, via Logos Now rather than LCloud.

While this may be true at the moment, I believe the intent is to add sufficient functionality to the web app to make it the intended solution. As such, I believe it is also the intended solution to the Linux problem.

I think KPK's answer lies with Biblia.com for the time being.
But I hope FL isn't designing a Logos look-alike under the hood of the Now beta-app. The potential for Faithlife to be an worldwide information hub (mainly Chritian) is realistically only deliverable thru the net. Churches and academia for sure. The Proclaim architecture is conceptually FL's future, using the library and datasets as the engine. Logos software is a future Libby. Basically books.

Could you elaborate a bit as you lost me in the comparison of library & datasets vs. books?

What is behind my point is that there's a limit to how many more pre-educated folks are available for future FL revenue. Certainly academia plus competitors' customers. But training a new cadre is not easy .... your work is a great example.
Plus, a self-limiter is how many people want/need progressively more sellable but esoteric datasets, while publishers pressure margins, and Amazon pressures price.
And, the platforms logically splinter, forcing FL to cover more points of entry.
The obvious (and only) solution is to consolidate to the net (maintaining the legacy Logos platform). Group study, learning, teaching. Thus the Proclaim world. Multiple languages. Thousands of churches.
In answer to your question on library/datasets, FL is the only group that has sophisticated net delivery, a large library (lay, pastor, and scholar), and the metadata to quickly present the information for multiple audiences needing varying classifications. Books is the current classing, but a very limited one.
That's why I think current fattening up Logos is a long-term mistake.
