FAO Faithlife: Please stop labelling sermon illustrations as sermons
I find it very frustrating that very often several of the 'sermons' listed in the passage guide are just sermon illustrations. If that's what I wanted, I would be looking at the illustrations section. These illustrations just clutter up the display, and stop me getting what I want.
Better access to sermon illustrations would be great — but not here.
(The culprit is 300 Illustrations for Preachers.)

Well in some places if it weren't for the illustrations there would be no sermon. [8-|]

We used to call those "sky-scraper sermons" - one story on top of another.
