Has any one been able to get a different size of word search imported into the handout?
Not I.
I have successfully imported a word find generated in Logos 3. I cut and paste, it dosen't look as good. My people want a more challenging word find, but the handout only generates a 9 word puzzle..
Someone (Bob P. ?) had previously stated that you cannot edit the settings from within the handout (oversight IMHO/ feature in their opinion). But the handout is supposed to draw from the last used settings.
To test this I tried to create a word find of the largest size with Tools>word find. Then I went into handouts and ran a handout on the same passage even. No avail. It seems locked at 9 words.
Pity. But it is just one more example of why handouts desperately need a dedicated coder to fix them (Or a promise to fix them after the missing features are added.)

This is a BIG issue for me. Before the last build of the software, the word search would fit nicely on the same page with the Bible text. I could make a one page handout with the text, some study questions, and the word search. But now, the word search size defaults to a full page. Not only is this a great waste of paper, it is a big issue at my church. Folks had grown accustomed to the handouts I would put together.
But, by far the most disappointing thing, is the lack of response from Logos. This is being dealt with as a "feature" rather than a bug.
I have been around software long enough to know the difference.
Although I really like Logos, sometimes people need to remember Marketing is Everything and Everything is Marketing.
