Atlas is a good feature in need of excellence. The dynamic maps and ability to toggle between different eras are convenient, but one of the big reasons I go to a map is to compare two places. I would like to be able to be able to go to the Atlas and type Hebron (city) AND Jerusalem (city) and get a list of maps that include both, with each marked. Ideally, I would also get some basic information (18.3 miles apart/500 foot climb).Holding down control is not very precise, and (although it would be improved if it did) does not give elevation data, I understand the latter is difficult to do (from what point to what point), but having a basic comparison on if I would go uphill or downhill from one to the other would be handy. Having multiple locations on a map is a must.
If I am teaching on Revelation, I want to be able to type the 7 churches of Asia Minor and get the Atlas tool to make me a map to send to Proclaim.
If I am studying Genesis 22, I want to know the relationships of Philistia (complicating things), Hebron and Beersheba.
