Unknown Error Occurred Opening Resource
I'm getting an "Unknown Error Occurred Opening Resource" message when trying to open certain books. Those include the New American Bible: Revised Edition and some if not all of the Ante-Nicene Fathers series. Other books open fine. I'm using a non HD Kindle Fire with the older application located here:

This is probably due to these resources requiring a later version of the application engine.
This thread will be moved to the Android forum where more people with expertise with the app on the Kindle can comment further

End of Support for original Kindle Fire (and other devices running Android 2.3 variants) was announced in June, 2014 and support ended in November, 2014. This version of our app is no longer supported. Have you considered upgrading your device?

Thanks Kevin. Worked fine until a couple of weeks ago. Since I don't think I can upgrade this Kindle, I suppose your suggestion is to get a newer tablet. If that's the only option, then I guess that's what I'll have to do. Dan
