Downloading & Unlocking the software

I purchased Logos 4 back in January. As of today I have not been able to get past the Unlock & Download screen in My Account/Order History. I have emailed Logos, I have called and at this point am frustrated and will likely be requesting my money back for a product that has been paid for but can not be accessed.
The error message I get is:
Name: update.lbxupd
Type: Unknown file type
From: www.logos.com
When I try to find file, it sends me to a Windows Extension Association and I've already downloaded a few of those programs-which never helps. I am currently on hold for 25+min for Tech Support, but I was hoping someone could help me because as much as I want this software-so far it is proving more frustrating than anything and am on the verge of cancelling my order.
Thanks in advance!

Erica,
that file looks like a Libronix 3 file to me....hmmmm.....
Let me poke around and see if there is a link to a v4 file.

Erica,
I'm not going to guarantee this will work but try this link

Not to jump on Robert who is very knowledgable, but don't do what he suggested. It will just reinstall Logos 4. That isn't the problem.
The reason for the trouble is that the information you received refers to installing the new resource in Logos 3. The download and unlock screen is for those with Logos 3 installed. The update.lbxupd file is the Logos 3 updating program. It is a little confusing right now as these notices go out or as you purchase new resources.
You don't really need to do anything to get new resources into Logos 4. Logos 4 should discover you have a new license file, and download the resource for you (as long as you have not set Automatically Download Updates to No in Program Settings. The default is Yes.) If upon checking your Library you do not have the resource, type 'Update Resources' in the Logos 4 Command Bar and hit Enter. You should then see the words 'checking for updates' in the URH corner of Logos 4. Give it time to finish. Logos should find the missing resource and download it automatically.
If you still can't get the resource then let us know.

Mark is right, the update.lbxupd is to install a license in Libronix (version 3 or Logos). What product did you buy? Was it a base package or individual resource?
Your options seem to be to install Libronix, sync licenses and then open Logos 4 so it can download the new book. Or, call Logos Customer support to have them manually unlock the book on your account.
