Save note specification per layout

I don't think this happens, but it would be great for each specified (saved) layout for the notes to be able to be designated into a particular file (i.e. resource specific or a specific note).  For example - I am preaching through Luke, therefore I have a "Luke" layout and it would be great for me to be able to have annotations go to my "Luke" note - which is possible.  However, I believe that if I switch to my "Devotions" layout - then the annotations are saved as going to "Luke" - so each time I switch a layout they function in that manner.  This would be a great addition to the saving of the schemes so that in each layout the annotations go to something specific - would be a time saver (and also a headache saver if you forget to re-designate where the notes go).

Thanks.

Not necessarily. Assuming just notes without highlights, you can save each layout with the appropriate note file open in it. I believe that the right click will offer the open note file.
