I've been thinking recently, which is a dangerous thing.
There are so many times I run across article, or series of articles, online that I would like to integrate into my Logos environment. However, many times it is not the easiest thing to copy/paste into Word, reformat into Word styles, and then import as a PB.
Typically, in such cases as I find something I'd like to return to, I simply save it to Pocket or to my Safari Reading List. In both instances, it strips the article down to its basic HTML with simplified CSS styling for easy reading. This is handy, but still not helpful to my Logos study—they're two separate systems.
This has got me to wonder at whether it is possible to create some kind of web service or browser extension that would, like Pocket and Safari Reading List, strip an article down to its basics with a simplified stylesheet, and then (here's the cool part) automatically output it to a DOCX Word Document, with body text, H tags, Blockquote tags, and other html elements converted to their respective Heading Styles (perhaps a simplified styles preset with default formatting that would work well in Logos).
That way, when I run across an article I think would be helpful, I click my button and get a downloaded DOCX that I can import into Logos.
What do you think? And more importantly, is there anyone here on the forums (or at Faithlife) that has the technical know-how to do it?
