Im getting this error.. its been coming up all day. Even after restart (a few times) typed "update now" in the command field.. still the same error..  "Another installation iscurrently in progress. Please complete that installation and try again. You may need to restart..." there is nothing being updated or installed. All windows updates are current. I tried it again 2nd day and get the same error. I have attached logs. 5850.Logos Log Files.zip

once i click the ok to the error.. it seems to be stuck in "installing application update"  Any new ideas? Windows 10, i7-3770 3.4 ghz, 16 gb ram

I'll let windows techies jump in to rescue me, but have you tried the basic restart of windows?

    Rodney,

Restart the computer, then start a Command Prompt (type cmd in the Windows Search box) and type bitsadmin /reset and then update Logos from this link (run Logossetup.exe after downloading). It looks like an installation but only update Logos.

Sorry i have been busy and not able to check back in. While searching i found something about "performing a clean boot" - type msconfig into the start search, enter, open system config utility. click general tab, then click selective startup. clear the load startup items check box. finally, ensure the load system services and use original boot config are checked. apply and restart.

Not sure what i was actually trying, but it came up and wouldn't connect to the internet which naturally wouldn't allow me to update logos. duhh so i went back and changed it to "normal startup". opened logos and downloaded the update again.. and it installed. So far so good. no issues.  Switching that clean boot must have stopped something that was preventing the update?  If it happens again i will come back and try your suggestion Dave. Thanks for the reply.
