Windows 8.1 did an update yesterday and in the process deleted my whole Logos installation.
I am not happy with Microsoft.
Now it will be next week before it all downloads and indexes.
Did it delete the whole \Logos installation folder (a normal uninstall leaves the ...\Logos\Documents folder)?
Why are you so sure it was an MS update that did it?
There is no trace of Logos left on my computer except for the Logos Setup application. The icons, document file all gone.
I was using Logos immediately before the update and looked for it immediately after the update but it was not there. all my passwords and toolbar favorites were gone.My preferred browser (Chrome) had been changed to IE.
EDIT: Windows told me it was updating.

Are you still on Windows 8.1? This looks like Windows 10 or preparation for it, as it deleted (did not re-install!) one application of mine.
Are you still on Windows 8.1?
Yes, 8.1.
A strange thing happened. I signed out of User1 and signed back in to User1 and I see my Logos and other apps that were gone. I only have one User account. I have no idea what is going on.
If your W8.1 update is like W10 automatic updates (I never allowed that before W10) I've had to trust that a restart would restore some loss of function, but not to the extent you describe.
