Zondervan practice mercy and reduce this price please?

Ok I know its unlikely that Zondervan people are paying attention but I sure wish they would see their way to significantly lowering the cost for this wonderful set (which I am blessed to have in hard copy) so I can add it to my Logos library.

I had the same frustration. I found an electronic copy of this for another platform that was significantly on sale and took the leap to purchase it. Felt strange to have a resource like that parked in another software tool apart from Logos.

I would assume that it would be Faithlife people, rather than Zondervan's that would monitor this forum. But the first might be able to bring an opportunity to the attention of the second. I have no idea of the likelihood of this particular request happening, or for that matter, of Zondervan responding to a specific request as opposed to initiating a sale of their own, but I think that in light of the sales in the last year on WBC, NIVAC, and most recently ZECNT, we can be more hopeful that interesting sales on Zondervan products might happen more often (fairly regularly?) than they have in the past when there were none or almost none.
So it does not hurt to ask...

I definitely put my vote in for this. I'm looking at $5 each on Kindle for each Old Testament volume and there is no reason not to buy but I really would rather give my money to Logos instead. I am going to sit tight on this for a few days and see if Logos responds to this because I really want to have this entire set in Logos before any other format (I have the NT in print).

I have over 6,000 books in my Logos library, and over 1,000 on kindle... With that said, I really would never pick up these resources in Kindle @$5. It isn't worth it to me. The vast majority of my kindle books are fiction, or history/business/tech non-fiction. If I would have any desire to actually do something with the book other than read through it once, I buy in Logos/Vyrso or I don't buy it at all. I used to buy more that would be things Vyrso would carry (or does carry), but I no longer do so. The best reason to buy a kindle book is to get a cheap audible book along with it.

$70 bucks for all kindle volumes OR only, nah, I'd rather wait for a sale which if calculations are right, we'll have one sooner rather than later

I found the whole OT/NT set on another software platform last month for $100. I waffled back and forth but I couldn't see FL coming anywhere near that price. I don't understand how sale prices can be so different between different software vendors. I understand the value added that Logos has but I just wish it was that cheap in Logos. It only brings on a slippery slope of getting resources in other software platforms as time moves on. But Logos is my software of choice.

Within the eerie silence remains time for a flash sale.

If a sale does come out I hope they would allow separate purchase of the OT and NT sets.
I had both in physical form. I liked the NT set but not the OT as much.

Whereas I own the Old Testament set, but haven't bothered with the New Testament. [:P]

Bruce and others, thanks for awesome replies and posts.
I will wait and see if Zondervan and Logos play nice together on this set. Having the links would be great.
Still $5 a piece is sure tempting.

Ben, Christianbook and ebay always seem to have the NT set around cheaper.
I like the set as it is readable and useful when preparing. Setting things culturally and geographically is always important to me especially as sometimes seek to bridge the gap to today.
