I am not a pastor but have been a Logos user for over 10 years. I use the color coding and highlighting in bible study and create topical passage lists from the highlighting. I also have a my favorite verses passage list. Yesterday, I tried to add a verse to my open window for my favorite verses and it would not accept it. I rebuilt the index and it still would not work. I have had similar issues with highlighting on several occasions. I wish Logos would work on the usability and stability of their core operating system and just enable the application to perform properly. I treasure my Logos bible and software but I am frustrated with their customer service and lack of attention to fundamental operating system issues.
