Flashcard app and Reset statistics

I can't get the flashcard app to reset my statistics. The only way I have been able to reset it to 0 is by deleting the app from my iPhone 6 Plus and then reinstalling it.

    When I try to Reset Statistics it freezes up my phone as well.
