Dear Logos,
Will you be price matching the deal going on with the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary, Old Testament? The deal is now $4.99 per commentary.

I agree! Please price match this Zondervan deal. 😀
Do you guys even read about the sale before you post? It's an e-book edition sale that's why there are 14 volumes as opposed to five volumes in the Logos edition. Besides it's been discussed a gazillion times Logos does not do price matching. We all wish they did but they don't. Why? I'm sure others might pitch in, but for now take my word for it - no price matching! In fact do a search on price matching in the forums and you will get the answer in the millions of threads written about the subject 😉😒😬🤔🤓🙄😴
DAL, please be patient with others.
I am, I'm just informing them, that's all (informing again -- at least one of them - the other seems like one of our newbies that needs to know that's all) patience is exercised by repetition or else i would've given up a long time ago
Thank you for thinking of me and being patient with me. As you can see I don't get on the forums here too often so I was not aware. Now I know...
It doesn't hurt to ask and be hopeful. Just because they haven't done price matching in the past doesn't mean that they won't change that in the future. ;-)
As a UK resident I find the whole price matching issue strange. In the UK it is illegal for the publisher to determine the selling price. They can run promotions obviously, but the reseller is free to sell at whatever price they determine. This obviously encourages price competition and resellers will certainly look to match any promotions competitors are offering - irrespective of whether those are publisher promotions. I appreciate it is different in the US.
