crash lots of crashes this evening

Can't barely work this evening because of all the crashes. Dunno if this log sheds any light? I've had spinning wheel while loading. I've had crash as I click certain books. I think it seems to be when the change of verse causes the loaded book to change to another in the series. Eg. I move in my bible from matthew to isaiah and then when I try to click a commentary which is in the background it crashes. Same with discourse bible etc.
Any help much appreciated.

also crashes with updating a layout - after nearly 20 crashes this evening I'm giving up and using the webapp...

John, I took a look at the logs and see lots of "Network is unreachable" errors. I don't know how to fix that, but I wonder if running Logos in offline mode might allow you to work until someone more knowledgable can sort it out.
Also, is there any reason that you haven't updated your Mac to 10.11.3? You might try that.

Levi, Thanks I am on 10.11.3 already. I might try the offline thing tomorrow but I'm getting on ok with the web app for now! A sermon must be written!

Okay, those logs are better. It looks like you might have a corrupt layout.
Try starting with a blank layout. Click on the icon to launch Logos, then hold down on the Command key. You'll get a window where you can open Logos with a blank layout. Rebuild your layout and see if that solves it.

Ok I think I have figured out what causes the crashes.
If a commentary set or Bible in the layout does not have the verse searched for in it then we are going to get a crash. Eg. I have NA28 so when I search for isaiah 55 crash. I have ubs handbooks so again isaiah 55 crash.
Bundling na28 with bhs as a custom set fixes that one but an inability to add a near complete commentary set to the default layout is a bit of a bug. I also think its a new one because I was working with this layout for the last few weeks and really enjoying how it goes straight to what I want.
It's a custom passage search layout... The other glitch is that an exegetical guide or passage guide will track with the search but if I add a sermon starter guide too then it does not.
