BUG: Not all books being searched, even after reindex
A few days ago I was reading this thread and tried to duplicate one of KS4J's media searches, which he conveniently always provides the screen shots, and to my disbelief I didn't get some of the same hits he got, even though I owned the same books. I decide to Rebuild Index, but still no change. The books in question are:
Bible Knowledge Commentary
Believer's Bible Commentary
Knowing the Scriptures
This screenshot is what I'm trying to duplicate, but those three sources don't show up in the results. I'm not sure what to do next, outside of calling Tech Support. Thanks for any suggestions. BTW, I'm using 6.9 SR-1 6.9.0.0044.

Can you post a screenshot of your search as well please?
Also, have you tried targeting any of these specific resources (I mean, in "search in" select, for instance, Bible Knowledge Commentary) and see whether you get results then?

The OP includes a screen shot. I tried the same search and got expected results. I suspect that there is something broken under the hood, but if it is not the index I have no idea what to try.
EDIT: When you rebuilt the index are you certain it completed?

I think what you are seeing is as a result of not having "match all word forms" selected.
Try selecting that and see what happens

Thank you all for replying. Graham, I think you hit on the problem---I get those missing hits when I select "Match all word forms." So maybe that was what I was missing. I keep forgetting that option is there!

I wanted to add, and this may be in User Voice, I don't know, but I think there needs to be some kind of visual clue on the search panel that you have search limiters or expanders turned on. This would encourage me to use this set of features more.

David, I think that's an excellent idea. I hope FL will consider it without going through the UserVoice process.

+1 [Y] for visual indicators of search Match settings. Perhaps add indicators similar to link set below Magnifying Glass. Did not find User Voice suggestion for Search Match visual indicators.
