Sorting books in library by index
Is it possible to search my library by index type? I would like a quick way to show my books which have only a page number index or no index at all without having to check each book individually.

I don't think so, but out of curiosity, why are you interested in doing so?

I'm just working on doing some further refining in my prioritizing, parallel resources, and collections.. I wanted to see which books need to be in collections for searching- page only indexes and no indexes- and which books could be made into parallel resource sets- versified and topical indexes. I didn't think there was a way, but around here it never hurts to ask. I have been pleasantly surprised some times by what I thought couldn't be done. I ran a library search on "vyrso" and it yielded 91 books that had no index. I think I will make a "vyrso collection" so I will be able to search those books as well. Thanks for your help

There is a much better way to build a collection or filter your library for Vyrso books. Use the syntax edition:e. I believe that there may be a very few Vyrso resources with page numbers, but not many. You can consider that gospel.

"topical indexes" could be filtered by title:topical
"Topics" are usually filtered by type:(encyclopedia, concordance) but some type:monograph also have headword indexes - I tag those and have a collection filtered by:-
(type:(encyclopedia, concordancede) AND myrating:>2) OR mytag:topical
"versified" is usually type:(commentary, bible) but then you have English, greek and hebrew bibles. To what extent do you want to filter?

As far as bibles go, I am just concerned with a PRS for my English bibles. I only use the NA 27 for Greek and I can't read a lick of Hebrew. I like your suggestions. Thanks for your help Dave.[:D]
