A14 corrupted display

First a big thank you for the new Alpha! It's becoming very usable. Smile

I just noticed a rendering bug with the settings window, seems not to affect the other windows that I have opened. When I flick scroll up and down the (child) window, the display becomes corrupted. First the text becomes slightly blurred, then it goes haywire:

I wonder if anyone is seeing the same?

My config: iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 / 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3 (4GB given to Parallels), 2TB HDD (500GB given to Parallels), ATI Radeon HD 4850, Mac OSX 10.6.2

By the way, floating Program Settings panel is an option - renders fine and can scroll many times.

I'm sure your 2009 MacBook is doing much better than my late 2006 Sony notebook which panted and choked so badly when I tried to make it run L4 (that was the reason for the upgrade...) [:D]

I've run every Alpha since Alpha 3 on my first generation Black MacBook from May 2006 w/ a 2 Ghz Core Duo (not Core2 Duo) w/ 2GB RAM running 10.5, which is one of the oldest, slowest machines will actually run Logos 4 Mac.

The only things slower are Core Solo/Core Duo based Mac minis of similar vintage.

I am personally determined to make Logos 4 Mac usable on my Macbook.

Don't get me wrong, L4 run great--well, as great as expected--on my Mac. I'm not lamenting because L4 runs slowly, but because Amy's iMac is about 4X more powerful than my machine in general.

Though I fully support you goal of trying to get L4 to run well on as many generations of Macs as possible.

That is excellent news. I love L4 already - even it it's alpha form - but it's close to painfully slow at times ... and I'm using a 2009 Aluminium Macbook. I still count it as a new computer.

I hope that the speed issues will all go during the beta process.
