Over the years I have added/removed a number of IOS devices-  I am now running an iPad Pro and IPhone 6 Plus.

I had an injury and am forced to use my iPad at home rather than my iMac and some resources aren't there that I know I have purchased. I see them on my past orders in my account

How do I add these resources to my ipad?  Remember I am not able to use a desktop device at this time so any help would have to be done from ipad

Thanks in advance

If you are signed into your account, all mobile enabled resources that you own should appear. There is no need to "add" anything. If they aren't appearing, verify that they are mobile enabled And let us know.

I deleted the apps from iPad and the reinstall them. When I opened the app on iPad it showed a list of items that were not downloaded.

How owe can I re-establish the download process?

    1. You used "apps" (plural). You will need to download any resource you want offline to each app independently. Apple "sandboxes" apps, so the FL apps can't share data (such as downloaded resources). You will double the data storage requirements for each resource you download twice.
    2. You can download resources individually by viewing the resource info panel and click "download."
    3. You can download all resources by scrolling slightly upwards in the library... But that is unwise for many reasons. A better choice would be to create a tag from your desktop to apply to a group you would want offline. You can then filter your library using the syntax mytag:tagname.  Using the download all button when they library is filtered will download ALL of that subsection

Thank you for your reply, but you completely lost me on #3  I don't have a clue what you are suggesting I do

When I mentioned "apps" I was referring to Logos Bible and the Faith-life Bible Study Apps

    I'll try again. [:)]

    1. You can download ALL of your mobile enabled resources by scrolling slightly upwards in your library and click the "download all" button. NOTE: the download all button is hidden above when the library is first opened, which is why you need to scroll slightly upwards. It is at the VERY top of the library list.
    2. Despite the fact that Faithlife has allowed a "download all" button, it is really not recommended for any user unless you really don't ever have internet access (i.e. living in the jungle). I won't go into details here, but trust me. This is FL's advice as well.
    3. A more useful tip is that you can use the download all button to download a subset of your library. If the library is filtered (meaning that ANYTHING is typed into the library box), the download all button will download only the filtered results. Some examples:

author:smith will download all resources by the author "smith"

mytag:family will download all resources which YOU have given a tag of "family" to from within Logos 6 (Mac or PC)

edition:e will download all Vyrso resources (Vyrso books are given the edition of "eBook")

The point I was trying to make: don't download your entire library. If you want to download a group of books (instead of one at a time), you could add a tag to the resources (from the desktop app) and use the download all button to download just those resources. Does that make sense?

    Thanks my friend!

+Downloading by "author" etc is what I was wanting to do.  Whatinitially made me confused is that when I purchased a certain book etc online it asked if I wanted to make it available to certain IOS devices.  But having had  multiple IPads/IPhones I wasn't sure if the devices that I now have and use were on that list

now its downloading what I want it to!
