Bug Reindexing for no apparent reason

After updating to RC1 on Monday, Logos did a completer reindex. Today for no apparent reason it started to do a complete reindex again for no apparent reason. I have almost 15000 resources and don't have time to reindex every day or two. Please Help!!

I am not on beta (Logos engine nor OSX), but I have had similar problems recently. Ugh.

I've had the same thing happen after installing 6.10 RC 1—multiple times.

Same here for me. Reindex all of a sudden with RC 1 for Mac.

And it takes a lot of memory....

Just wanted to say that I too am experiencing this...so glad it's being addressed though!

Could the same bug be affecting the startup speed? Even on 6.10-RC1 startup is excruciatingly slow and I have to watch a blank white screen with a spinning beach ball for a couple minutes...and that is on one of the fastest laptops available!

This part of your log is what kicks off the reindexing:

This request is coming from Logos directly, if it matches the other logos.log files the corruption that it's detecting has to do with this phrase "Corrupt index detected. ~CorruptIndexException: Couldn't load document sections." We are still working on getting to the bottom of this.

I think there is a connection, but in the sense of "the feather that broke the camels back." My installation required a full reindex in short succession, and each time I needed to pause it at various points to prevent it from overheating. I ran hardware tests and everything came back fine. I haven't taken out the SSD yet, but there didn't seem to be any trouble with it.
