Extra clicking required for "tab key" shortcut required

It used to be that when a tab (of a resource) was selected, pressing the "tab key" automatically selected the reference field (for typing the verse, etc.). However for the past several beta versions, you not only have to select the resource tab, but also click somewhere on the resource in order for the "tab key" to work. It's not a big deal, but is a minor annoyance.

Just checked: This isn't working on 6.9 SR-1 either (Mac). FWIW, I've always used the Command-G shortcut.
