I assume that you can 'see' your CD via Windows Explorer. Correct?
When you look at the CD, do you see an autorun.inf file? If you do, right click on that and choose "Install." That should work.
If it doesn't you could have a bad spot on the CD, or some other issue (which are too numerous to mention).
If you bought the CD from Logos, there is one more thing to try, if the above doesn't work:
If you bought the CD from another company, your order may not be on the Logos site. In that case, if none of the above works, you may have to contact that company.
Report back if you have success, or not.
Is Windows Explorer the same as My Computer?
So far nothing working.
Tried what you recommended
No but you can get to it from there. If you double clcik on My Computer then double click on the D drive icon, what opens up is Windows Explorer.
Tell us what you see listed under your drive when you do this.
Setup ---- Autorun ---- Setup ----- Volume
By the way it is E: drive not if that makes a difference ....
Thanks!
Do you have Logos 3 or Logos 4?
Logos 4
Autorun is what you want to happen. Did you already try double clicking on that? (You can also right click and choose 'Open' or 'Run' depending on which one shows up)
If that doesn't work try running setup.exe.
Please report any messages that come up when you try these things.
Another thing to check is the back side of the disc to see if it is clean. I've received some damaged CDs that wouldn't load no matter what I tried.
In order to load from a disk you will need to do one of the following
This is why for those running Logos4, always buy downloadable resources if there's an option...and keep L3 installed on at least one of your computers so you are able to load disc-based products and register them, thus making them available in L4.
I got it working --- thank guys!
What was the problem? (for future reference when others are referencing this for help)
I had to install L3 again first. Then open L4
